fonts-sil-gentiumplus software package provides extended smart font family for Latin, Greek and Cyrillic, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-sil-gentiumplus
fonts-sil-gentiumplus is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-sil-gentiumplus package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-sil-gentiumplus *
You will get with fonts-sil-gentiumplus package name, version, architecture and description in a table
